The Thailand Project
Our Chi Alpha ministry has been given
the great privilege of helping develop a
campus ministry in Bangkok, Thailand.
We will be targeting two major
universities with a three pronged
strategy.
1. Our campus pastors, Craig and
April Woodham, will be "giving a year"
to work with university students in
Bangkok from June 2008 to June 2009.
While there, they will be establishing
cell group ministry, teaching English,
working with short term mission teams,
as well other forms of outreach and
relationship building.
2. Over the next five years,
beginning this July, UA Chi Alpha will
be sending summer mission teams to
Thailand. Teams will be teaching
conversational English and building
friendships as an avenue to live out the
gospel and tell people about Jesus.
3. We will be promoting to students and
young adults the adventure of "giving a
year" in Thailand. Our desire is
to see a consistent stream of young men
and women being used by God to impact
the students of Thailand.

How you can help
In order to cover travel and ministry
expenses while in Thailand, Craig and
April are in the process of raising
$25,000. Because the new school
year in Thailand begins in June, they
are planning to leave in a little over
two months. If you would like to
help, just follow the giving instructions in
the red box.
